The Press House has the means and knowledge to offer a variety of publicity services, including national, regional and local press campaigns, and tour publicity. Whether you are looking to promote your project to the entire country or just your hometown we work closely with you to determine the best approach to ensure that all aspects of the media are accurately targeted and squarely hit. We service daily and weekly newspapers, monthly magazines, Internet websites, and radio and TV stations across the country or in the selected area you desire coverage. We actively pursue previews, features, mentions, reviews, live appearances and photo placements, set up interviews both over the phone and in-person, and constantly keep the media informed of your latest news.
When you tour, whether you have two tour dates or twenty, we make sure every stop along the way receives the media attention it deserves by tracking a tour state by state, venue by venue, and servicing all aspects of the media including local radio and television stations and print and internet publications to secure previews, features, mentions and reviews of shows. We also recognize the importance of getting the "right" people in each market out to see you, and work very hard to make sure they are in the door, drink in hand, on the night of your show.

Television: After learning the ropes at larger publicity firms, The Press House founder Dawn Kamerling became driven by the need for more personal and attentive service in the largely impersonal world of publicity. With little more than a telephone and a large dose of natural talent, Dawn birthed the company on the floor of her Belmont, Massachusetts apartment in 2001. After acquiring a few much-needed pieces of office furniture and a devoted, similarly hard-working staff, The Press House has grown into a living, breathing entity, centering around Dawn and her staff’s glowing passion for their craft and the energy and inspiration they always offers her clients. Since the conception of The Press House, Dawn has lent her expertise to several music industry panels, penned articles on publicity and self-promotion, and consulted for several record labels and start-up PR firms. She has also led workshops on how to promote yourself as an artist for CD Baby and The Kaui Music Festival.
Recently, The Press House has expanded from a music-based boutique PR firm to a full-service company that offers an exciting new lifestyle division- film and restaurant publicity, interactive marketing, and event planning. While The Press House will always be music-based and have music at the core of its heart, we are thrilled to be expanding our horizons and be taking our talent and securely established relationships with both our clients and the media into new territory.

Since starting in PR ten years ago, I have landed hundreds of press placements for my artists. We get the bigs ones, like the New York Times and NPR, and the small blogs as well. We go above and beyond press for every client we work with. We are really proud of that.
Also, we loved getting the entire arts section cover of the New York Times for an Americana Opera we worked last year.....that was pretty neat. And national tv is always a win.
