BIOGRAPHY
Tara’s transition to the Indie music scene happened after a 15 year career in Musical Theater when she was invited to join the Acoustic Americana/ Folk Rock band, "John Zipperer and Friends.”. She has recorded for Nick Kirgo, Marvin Glover, Clifford J. Tasner and Kosta Lois.

Tara has studied voice with Gerald White (Avatar, XMen, Glee), Dan Callaway (Linda Eder, Phantom Nat'l Tour), Ross Kalling (ANMT), Dr. Dean Verhines (Metropolitan Opera) and Amelia Haas (Original Broadway companies of "Hello Dolly", "li'l Abner", "Bye Bye Birdie"),

Recent releases include "Laughter For A Change" , written for Ed Greenberg's organization, Laughter For A Change, which uses laughter, comedy and improv techniques to build community, and "Brave", the title song on her upcoming CD. Tara's voice can also be heard as a backup vocalist on EPs released by John Zipperer and Gerry Perlinski.
