1st Stanza
 Well I’m not crazy about her anymore
I’m finally  able to get up and close that door
I gave it my all and my heart I did pour
She cared a lot for me but really not much more
2nd Stanza
When I first saw her it was love at first sight
I said this can’t  be real no it just isn’t right
I must be at a theatre and it’s a Friday night
I must be watching that movie  Love At First Bite
Cuz it bit me in the tail and I certainly fell
My heart was thumping hard my head was ringing like a bell
I was swept up like a house in a wind stormed gale
Drove up to me fast and furious like next day UPS mail
3rd Stanza
Well she sashayed right by me at a steady pace
My lips were stuck together with Elmer’s paste
Got my pen out didn’t want to be slow out the gate
Couldn’t mess  around cuz you know that  haste makes waste
4th Stanza
I thank the lord cuz she worked in the place where I was training
And all through the day my neck it  was a straining
To get a  glimpse  of her it was no containing
My love for her and it came down on me like it was raining
Well she got up from her desk walked away to take a break
I  put the note on her desk before it was too late
The next day she said hello and I thought yeah this is great
I said I’d like to get to know you want to be your soul mate
5th Stanza
She said she’d been through some thangs that just went  so bad
And I could see in her eyes that she was very sad
I said we’ll take it slow I want to make you glad
That you met me baby I’m  not a bad lad
6th Stanza
Well after some time I began to see a trend
Her hear t was still broken and it would not mend
I told her many times I loved her but she would not bend
She said I don’t love you but I will always be your friend
Well I finally gave up and we  drifted  away
But  I still loved  her  to forget her would take more than a day
But that’s how love is sometime it just doesn’t pay
If it’s just not there there’s no reason to stay

Two years past and I saw her on that Facebook thang
Sent her a message thought I was smooth and Kool and The Gang
I said it’s been a while can I give you a rang
She sent me her number and I began to sang
8th Stsnza
Well hello darling it’s been a long long time
I still care about you is everything fine
She said she had gotten married it kind of blew my mind
Cuz I tried so very hard to make her mine
Well we set up a meeting, she gave me a great big hug 
Said she married this guy who turned out to be a thug
She’s no longer married feels like a dirty rug
That’s been stepped on often now she’s just looking for a bud
9th Stanza 
So I’m not crazy about her anymore
I’m finally  able to get up and close that door
