Late night, candle light, a breeze drifted by
The stars had nothing on the twinkle in your eyes
Red wine, cleaver lines, you knew just what to say
I wouldn’t trade that night for a years worth of days

Night air never seemed so sweet
We danced with no music to our own beat
The city glowed, while on that hill it was just you and me 


High altitude you send me to the moon
Every time your eyes meet mine

Foot rub, bath tub, bubbles on our heads
Moon shined through the window as we cuddled up in bed
Nights done, morning sun, there was no reason to race
My dog jumped up in bed and he licked your face

Sunday morning never felt so good
Breakfast on the couch laughing at old cartoons
Livin and lovin like I never thought I would
