Born and raised in the suburbs of Middle Tennessee, Ryan graduates in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State with a B.S. in journalism. He grew up playing sports and satisfied his desire to explore at the river behind his house. Through high school and college English courses, he developed an interest and passion for the art of writing.
