BIOGRAPHY
A speaker, writer, songwriter, and musician, Richelle Putnam has won awards in various categories of fiction, memoir, poetry, and songwriting, including UK Songwriting Competition, several in Song of the Year, and four recognitions in American Songwriter Magazine, . Her works have been published in online and print magazines, newspapers, literary journals and anthologies. Richelle instructs all ages on the craft of writing, and facilitates one-day workshops and four to six-week courses on all writing. She has been an artist-in-residence at schools and Girls Scouts of America, facilitated journaling sessions in prison settings and recovery centers, worked in libraries, Headstart Programs, and Boys and Girls Clubs. Her original songs have been played on many radio stations, including #1 Internet Station Iradio LA, Skope Magazine Radio, Band Radio, Women of Substance Radio, WomensRadio, Banana Peel Radio, Acoustic Fuel, Midnight Special Blues Hour, and Dr. Lou’s Blues Radio.
