BIOGRAPHY
I have been a BMI lyricist for over 30 years and have won or placed with different co-writers in just about every major international song competition you can name ( John Lennon, Great American, Billboard, Unisong, International Song Contest, We Are Listening, SongWars, UK Song Competition, Durango Song Contest and many others) . I write only words and have little to no musical abilities. I have signed many publishing deals with my co-writers and have had many cuts by independent artists as well as several holds by major artists.

I currently write with several composers around the globe, but am always interested in meeting creative and professional new co-writers.

If you can write music to words and are patient enough to let me mold my words to your melodies then drop me a line. I wish all who read this a very successful musical journey.

All Independent Artists--Too numerous to list here.
SONG PLACEMENTS
None in particular yet but we have numerous songs in film/TV libraries waiting to be found by the right project.
AWARDS & ACCOLADES
As far as International Song Contest Awards there are too many to list here. I have just started into master recordings for film/TV placement. We are just now starting to get nibbles. Stay tuned. Recently I was also asked by the well-known German country band "The Cripple Creek Band" to help write lyrics for their next CD. As of this writing I will have 6 songs on their November 2009 CD release.

Numerous indie artists cuts on CD's.

Robbie Robertson

As a member of The Band, Robbie Robertson changed the course or rock music history, hipping the genre to a more old-timey sound with songs like “The Weight,” “Up On Cripple Creek,” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.” His latest solo album, How To Become Clairvoyant, reflects on his rock and roll past.

Taylor Swift: The Garden In The Machine

“Country music is truly music for everyone,” said Tim McGraw, as he and his wife Faith Hill prepared to announce the Country Music Association’s 2009 “Entertainer of the Year” award. “And that’s never been more apparent than with the diversity of tonight’s nominees.”

Jessica Lea Mayfield: Look At Miss Ohio

“Things are starting to get weird.”

Jessica Lea Mayfield, whose Nonesuch Records debut Tell Me is in stores now, is on the phone from her home in Ohio and we’re having a good laugh over her recent success. It’s beer o’clock on both ends of the phone, the last interview in a long week of talking to complete strangers for the two of us.

Cadillac Sky

Cadillac Sky should be a lot more tired. It’s early Saturday afternoon at MerleFest and the band–Bryan Simpson, Matt Menefree, Andrew Moritz, Ross Holmes and newest addition David Mayfield–has already logged two performances on the day....
