"My heart comes with a warning, I may not like you in the morning, but I'll love you tonight."
BIOGRAPHY
Do you ever hear people commenting about the lack of traditional country music on the airwaves - like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Lorretta Lynn? Do all the songs and lyrics sound the same anymore? If you are looking a sound and style that is truly refreshing, check out singer, songwriter, musician Erin James. Influenced by legends, Erin James blends the best of country story telling in her writing - with a traditional yet modern edge to her songs.

Her story lines are very real - sometimes even gut wrenching. That being said, Erin James is unique -- a true artist, and phenomenal performer. She recently finished her new album produced by Grammy Award winner Brent Mason - she wrote every song! Her music can be found on Amazon, Reverbnation, Itunes and more!

Erin James is also an accomplished instrumentalist- she plays eight instruments including guitar, mandolin, fiddle and keys.

Erin James has co-written with Stephanie Bentley, Kris Bergnes, Keith Anderson, Cowboy Troy and more. She has toured the USA as part of the girl trio Chasing Dixie and has opened shows for Brooks and Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Keith Anderson, Jason Aldean, Cowboy Troy to name a few. Erin James also appeared on Storme Warren's Headline Country on GAC- TV.

Exciting things are on the horizon for this talented singer-songwriter. Check out YouTube for video clips of this smokin' hot songwriter.

Robbie Robertson

As a member of The Band, Robbie Robertson changed the course or rock music history, hipping the genre to a more old-timey sound with songs like “The Weight,” “Up On Cripple Creek,” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.” His latest solo album, How To Become Clairvoyant, reflects on his rock and roll past.

Taylor Swift: The Garden In The Machine

“Country music is truly music for everyone,” said Tim McGraw, as he and his wife Faith Hill prepared to announce the Country Music Association’s 2009 “Entertainer of the Year” award. “And that’s never been more apparent than with the diversity of tonight’s nominees.”

Alison Krauss: The Golden Girl

These days, many Nashville-based artists co-write their own material with big name songwriters so they can share a piece of the royalty pie in times of declining CD sales. But the truth is, a lot of those co-writes can’t match the work of people whose calling in life is to create high-quality songs above anything else.

Jessica Lea Mayfield: Look At Miss Ohio

“Things are starting to get weird.”

Jessica Lea Mayfield, whose Nonesuch Records debut Tell Me is in stores now, is on the phone from her home in Ohio and we’re having a good laugh over her recent success. It’s beer o’clock on both ends of the phone, the last interview in a long week of talking to complete strangers for the two of us.
