Hosting songwriting contests for more than 28 years, American Songwriter proudly announces their biggest opportunity yet. In partnership with Martin Guitar and American Songspace, "The Pub Deal" is a one of a kind contest that provides the winning songwriter with a year-long $20,000 publishing contract from HoriPro Entertainment Group, Inc.
Open to songwriters of all levels, simply submit 3 songs for consideration. 25 Finalists will be decided by the American Songwriter staff and the panel of judges below.
PRIZES: 25 Finalists will be announced and featured on AmericanSongwriter.com. From the 25 the "Top 5" will be selected to participate in an exclusive audition process that includes a series of interviews with the publishing company's staff and co-writing sessions with some of Music Row's top songwriters.
GRAND PRIZE: A songwriting contract with HoriPro Entertainment Group, Inc., for a term of one year, with the possibility of two additional years at HoriPro’s option. For the first year, the winner will be paid $20,000, non-recoupable (meaning it won’t reduce any royalties owed to the winner.)
