To celebrate the magazine's 25th anniversary, American Songwriter invites you to weigh in on what you think is the #1 American song written, recorded or released from 1984 to 2009.

Enter 100 words on your top song pick of the last 25 years and your opinion could be published in our July/August issue. We'll also publish 5-10 runner-up entries online on AmericanSongwriter.com.

One writer will receive the GRAND PRIZE at the end of the entry period: a SONGWRITER DELUXE STANDARD acoustic guitar from GIBSON ACOUSTIC, an American Songwriter "Don't Die With The Music In You" t-shirt, and a one-year subscription to American Songwriter magazine.
