BIOGRAPHY
For worship leaders Brian and April, music and worship is more than a job description, it's a lifestyle.

Brian was born and raised in a Christian home. His dad was an accomplished musician, having played in Nashville with country music legends like Patsy Cline, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, and more. He helped to stir a passion for music early on in Brian's life. Brian started playing piano at age five and began playing guitar at age sixteen, but it wasn't until after high school that he began to make music more than just a fun pastime. He played with several members in a Chattanooga-based Christian Rock group for a number of years. And, through a series of events with this group he met the love of his life - April.

April was also raised in a Christian home. Her dad worked in the acclaimed studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama that brought us such greats as Aretha Franklin, Percy Sledge, The Forester Sisters, Alabama, and more. When April was born, he was the Minister of Music at a large church in her hometown, Tallahassee, Florida. Her mother was the pianist there and also a successful piano teacher. Surrounded by music, April crafted her instrument - her smooth, elegant voice.

Together, with their differing styles, they display a beautiful unity in their worship. Their desire to experience the manifest presence of God is clearly evident from the moment you meet Brian and April.

Brian and April are both published songwriters. Currently, they reside in Trenton, Georgia with their daughter Alyviah Grace as they serve as Worship Pastor's at their home church Word of Life Ministry in Fort Payne, Alabama under the leadership of Bishop Marlon Williamson. Licensed under the Kingdom Life Fellowship International, Brian and April have an enthusiasm for the local church and a hunger to see the Gospel of the Kingdom reach the four corners of the world.

Robbie Robertson

As a member of The Band, Robbie Robertson changed the course or rock music history, hipping the genre to a more old-timey sound with songs like “The Weight,” “Up On Cripple Creek,” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.” His latest solo album, How To Become Clairvoyant, reflects on his rock and roll past.

Taylor Swift: The Garden In The Machine

“Country music is truly music for everyone,” said Tim McGraw, as he and his wife Faith Hill prepared to announce the Country Music Association’s 2009 “Entertainer of the Year” award. “And that’s never been more apparent than with the diversity of tonight’s nominees.”

Jessica Lea Mayfield: Look At Miss Ohio

“Things are starting to get weird.”

Jessica Lea Mayfield, whose Nonesuch Records debut Tell Me is in stores now, is on the phone from her home in Ohio and we’re having a good laugh over her recent success. It’s beer o’clock on both ends of the phone, the last interview in a long week of talking to complete strangers for the two of us.
