BIOGRAPHY
Raised in Hamilton, Alabama - the musical crossroads of Muscle Shoals, AL, Tupelo, MS, and Memphis, TN. Gigged in the Shoals area for a few years fronting a rock band (LSD-30), met and married my wife, Tanya (16 years), majored in Commercial Music at the University of North Alabama, had first son Zach, moved to Nashville, TN, found work in a couple of small music publishing companies, lost work in a couple of small music publishing companies, had second son Jakob, went back to playing with a band (Sweet Simpleton), came back to Nashville, worked in another small music publishing company, worked a short while in the licensing dept. at BMI, left for a job at ASCAP where I stayed for a bit over 11 years, during which time we our had third son Joshua...and fourth son Luke, left ASCAP to accept the Creative Director position at Word Music Publishing, earned my Masters at Trevecca Nazarene University during this transition, wrote a few indy tunes, got a few indy tunes cut, started playing in a band again on the side (Workin' Stiffs)...I like to keep busy I guess...
